Delete your account and manage cookies

This page explains how to request the deletion of your account and how to choose which cookies the Sweescape dashboard may use.

Delete your account

The dashboard has no button to delete your account. To delete it, write to Sweescape support at [email protected], giving your account’s email address.

Before requesting deletion

  1. Cancel your subscription. In Settings, Subscription card, click Update and cancel from your Stripe customer portal. See Plans and subscription.

  2. Download your Sweescape invoices. In the same card, the Invoices list has a Download button for each invoice.

  3. Export your attendees for each event you want to keep. See Export the attendee list.

  4. Check your payments in Stripe. The money from your sales was paid into your Stripe account, not to Sweescape. Any refunds are also made in Stripe. See Sales, orders and refunds.

The dashboard uses three categories of cookies:

  • Essential: they keep you signed in and remember your choices. They are Always on.
  • Audience measurement: they help understand how the app is used, to improve it. The tool is PostHog, hosted in the European Union.
  • Advertising: they measure Sweescape’s ad campaigns and make its ads more relevant. The tool is Meta (Facebook, Instagram).

Your first choice

On your first visit, a Help us improve Sweescape banner appears at the bottom of the screen. Nothing is switched on until you choose.

  • Reject all: only essential cookies are used.
  • Accept all: audience measurement and advertising are switched on.
  • Customize: opens the list of categories so you can choose one by one.
  • Learn more: opens Sweescape’s cookie policy.

Your choice is remembered for about six months in this browser. After that, the banner appears again.

Change your mind

  1. On the sign-up page, click Manage cookies below the form. This link is not yet available in the dashboard once you are logged in: to change your mind, sign out and open the sign-up page, or wait for the banner to show again.

  2. The Your preferences panel opens. Turn Audience measurement and Advertising on or off with their switch.

  3. Click Save, or Accept all. The Back button returns to the first banner.

If you withdraw a consent you gave earlier, the cookies of that category are erased and the page reloads.
