Sell your first tickets

This page takes you from creating your account to scanning tickets at the door. Each step is summarized here and links to its detailed page.

  1. Create your account. Sign up on the dashboard with your first name, last name, email address and a password. Then click the link you receive by email to activate your account: it is valid for one hour.

    Details: Create your account.

  2. Choose a plan. Open your account menu, top right, then Settings. In the Subscription card, click Subscribe, pick your plan in the grid and pay on Stripe’s secure page.

    Details: Plans and subscription.

  3. Connect your Stripe account. Still in Settings, in the External connection card, click Connect next to Stripe. Create a Stripe account or link the one you already have, then fill in your company’s billing details. Your account must show Account activated before you move on.

    Details: Connect Stripe.

  4. Create the event. Go back to the dashboard and click Create one event, then Event with ticketing. Enter the name, dates, address, the Stripe account that will collect the sales and the VAT rate, then click Create event.

    Details: Create an event.

  5. Create your tickets. In the event’s Ticket tab, click Add a ticket for each ticket type: “Early bird”, “Regular”, “VIP”… The price you enter is the price the buyer pays, VAT included.

Details: Create and manage tickets and Prices, VAT and fees.

  6. Build the ticketing page. Still in the Ticket tab, click Open Page Builder. Add your visuals and texts, in your own colors, and make sure the page has a button that opens the ticketing: this is how buyers reach the purchase window.

Details: Get started with the page editor and Ticketing page blocks.

  7. Publish the page. Turn on the Enable White Label Ticketing switch, then click Publish. While the switch is off, the button reads Save and the page is not open to the public.

Details: Publish and share the page.

  8. Share the link. Click Copy the page link and share it on social media, in your emails or on your website. You can also serve the page on your own domain.

Details: Your own domain and Pixels and tracking scripts.

  9. Follow your sales. Each buyer appears in the Participants tab and automatically receives their ticket. Visits, sales and conversions are in SweeAnalytics.

Details: View and manage your attendees and Analytics.

  10. Check people in on the day. Install the SweeScan app on your phone: open your account menu, then Mobile Scan App, and scan the iPhone or Android QR code (on Android, the app is installed from an APK file, not from Google Play). Log in with your Sweescape account and scan tickets at the door.

Details: Install the SweeScan app and Scan tickets.
